This de-dusting unit with pneumatic cleaning unit is a cartridge filter for central de-dusting of machines and working places. It is designed for dry and less adhesive dusts.

Choices out of different basic modules of this system permit a flexible adaption to the procedure-technical demands. The basic unit needs only 1 m² surface area. The filter cartridges are changed - to save construction height - from the raw gas side. Access to the filter cartridges is provided by a big door on the front side.

  Cartridge & Bag Filters VARIO-JET

The VARIO-JET cartridge filter / bag filter is especially suitable for de-dusting pneumatic conveying processes of bulk materials. All parts in contact with the product are manufactured of stainless steel serially.

Because of the round construction, the cartridge filter / bag filter is applicable for overpressure / low pressure up to +/- 0.5 bar. But this filter series can be used generally for all cases where a product / dust / air mixture continuously arises over a long period of time. It is also suitable for de-dusting of mechanical transporting and manufacturing processes.

During the filtration phase the cleaning of the filter cartridges or filter bags is done in periodic intervals by pulses of compressed air (jet cleaning). The filter sizes cover a volume flow of 20 m³/h to 4,000 m³/h. 

As a standard, all components that are in contact with the product are made of stainless steel which makes the filter predestined for use in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical and plastics industry

Thanks to an optional hot gas design, pressure resistance and gas-tightness, the fully automated filters with pneumatical cleaning ensure not only the extraction of dust and powder products from exhaust air, but also from process gases.

Due to the modular system the MICRON is available as a cleanable housing filter with one or two filter stages. For the first stage, filter cartridges of the classes H10 through H13 are used as filter media, and the classes H13 through U15 for the second stage.

A special feature is the optional "Safe-Change" system helping maintenance personnel to carry out dust disposal and exchange of filter media free of contamination, that is without coming into contact with the dust.

As a result, there are main fields of application for the MICRON cartridge filter for dedusting tasks in various industries such as chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, medicine, heavy metal processing (e.g. accumulators, Hg fluorescent recycling), dyes, nuclear technology, decontamination etc.
